On April 2-3, Yevgeny Grinko performed for the first time in Baku at the Heydar Aliyev Palace. The musician is popular not only in Russia, but also abroad. Critics call him the Russian Jan Tiersen. Views of the clips on Grinko’s official YouTube channel reach 20,000,000 views. In his work, the young composer consistently adheres to deliberate simplicity, in which, contrary to the first deceptive impression, a whirlpool of emotions seethes.
The young, talented Evgeny Grinko became famous on social networks thanks to the video for his solo composition “Waltz” – it became popular in a matter of days. Evgeniy is a real star of Russian neoclassical music, the author of music for the films of Victor Ginzburg Generation P and Sergei Loban “Tenteau Show”.
The concert in Baku was sold out. At the concert, Evgeniy was accompanied by his stunning chamber ensemble.
The popular pianist presented the Baku public with a completely new concert program, which mainly included compositions of his own composition. “Polyushka Pole” by Lev Knipper, which many consider a Russian folk song, was also performed.
Light, unobtrusive, slightly dramatic compositions by Evgeny Grinko touched without words and left no one indifferent. His music is real and sincere. It seems as if the author has extracted all the pieces of his soul, turning them into chords of his creations.
At the end of the evening, everyone’s favorite composition “Waltz” was performed; many of the pianist’s fans
came to the concert precisely because of this composition.
